JENNIFER SIMON LENTO

Jennifer Simon Lento serves as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer.  Jennifer has been practicing law in the renewable energy and environmental sectors for more than fourteen years. She received her Juris Doctorate from New Jersey’s Rutgers School of Law, and her Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College in New York.   Jennifer spent the first 10 years of her legal career working with the energy and environmental practice groups of several large and mid-sized law firms in Boston, Southern New Jersey, and Philadelphia. During her tenure in private practice, Jennifer authored an award-winning blog focused on law and policy developments the United States offshore wind industry.  

Prior to joining Vineyard Wind, Jennifer was counsel for a private equity fund focused on the acquisition, development, and financing of commercial scale distributed solar energy projects across the continental United States and Hawaii.
