The Position: We’re looking for an experienced Communications Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for:

  • Work closely with project staff to develop a detailed media strategy geared to increase public awareness of the project, disseminate project details and updates to a wide audience that includes stakeholders and policymakers.
  • Coordinate and implement the overall social media strategy, creating a significant presence on multiple media platforms.
  • Interface with media relations and strategic communications consultants to ensure the strategic media plan is implemented and adjusted as appropriate, based on market conditions, public relations needs and project milestones.
  • Take on a leadership role in creating and collaborating on media content, including press releases and new media, seeking out new and innovative ways for Vineyard Wind to connect with the public, including managing and creating content for various social media accounts

The Position: We’re looking for an experienced Deputy Commissioning Manager to join our team. The primary objective of the role is to assist the Lead Commissioning Manager with their responsibilities with

  • Management of the Project Commissioning Team and associated resource.
  • Controlling the ’Safety from the System ‘and ‘Electrical Safety Rules’ procedures in respect to all electrical activities associated with the project.
  • Managing the operation of all high-voltage systems, including the interfaces between each package.

The Position: We’re looking for an experienced Deputy Site Manager to join our team.The primary objective of the role is to Lead and support the Site Manager and Construction team in the management of site preparation for construction, site management during construction and hand over to O&M. Responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with Project Development team and assist in the process of gaining consent/approval for the temporary construction base and the O&M base/building.
  • Manage the procurement of all contracts, from ITT preparation to hand over, for any part of the work required to ensure that the temporary and permanent port infrastructure.
  • Prepare decision papers for management where required, including reasoning and cost/benefit analysis.
  • Report and manage the program, including initial and continuing progress.

Requirements: The right candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and direct experience as a Site Manager in an offshore wind construction project. + Document Control Coordinator

The Position: We’re looking for an experienced Document Controller to join our team. You wil be responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting, retrieval and distribution of electronically stored and hard copy documentation produced for, and by, all packages involved in the construction works of the Vineyard Wind farm. The project documentation is controlled using PIMS (Omega) EDMS adapted to project needs.

The document controller will work closely with package managers, technical teams and construction contractors, ensuring document meta data including RDS-PP numbering, where applicable, is correctly adhered to.In addition the controller will produce status reporting to management on a regular basis.

The document controller will be a key member of the Project Management Team supporting many aspects of administration, contractual documentation and key correspondence between all parties.

Key duties will include:

  • Supporting all technical packages documentation
  • Receiving, cataloging and storing hard and electronic copies of all technical drawings, reports and related information in an orderly manner, in line with project policies and procedures.
  • Allocate document numbers & coding on request to project team members & contractors.
  • Respond in a timely manner to requests to retrieve information, carry out information searches and general requests to support all package teams.
  • Accurately update information as required
  • Comtrol review cycles of documentation under preparation.
  • Particiapate in project management meetings reporting on document status as required

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or similar) with minimum five years relevant experience with document management and control, preferably in the onshore or offshore wind industry.   • Ensure compliance with permit requirements and applicable laws relating to the project vessel activities (including installation vessels, transport vessels, service vessels, etc.).
  • Build and expand relationships with marine stakeholders including fishermen, port directors, ferry operators, and recreational boaters.
  • Gather, assess and properly disseminate information gathered from external sources to appropriate internal team members.
  • Function as a liaison between the company and the US Coast Guard and US Navy.

Requirements: The right candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in environmental management, have at least ten years of professional experience working with regulators and stakeholders, with knowledge of the local offshore market.   • effective Cost control/monitoring is implemented in the administration of the MWS contract;

  • Optimization of the overall cable, technical and logistical concept throughout the design phase
  • Scoping of FEED studies to include: export and array cable routing, cable burial risk assessment, sand wave migration studies, metocean data outputs
  • Ensure correct technical documents are available to supply chain
  • Ensuring all supplier designs and methodologies are fit for purpose and compliant with relevant standards and codes
  • Review of technical and engineering deliverables, , including management of internal and related works contractor reviews
  • Drafting of technical requirements

Further the job will entail Management and Optimization of internal and external Cable related technical interfaces. Review and comment on interface design from other packages / Related Works Contractors: ESP; Foundations; Scour; T&I; Commissioning. Technical engagement with Permit and Consents and other third parties
