+ Export Cable Installation Manager

The Position: We’re looking for an experienced Export Cable Installation Manager to join our team. You wil be responsible for the installation of the Inter Array Cables connecting the Offshore Wind Turbines, which includes planning and supervising installation personnel to achieve the goals and timelines of the project. You will become part of the Export Cable Package and will be reporting to the Package Manager.

Key duties will include:

  • On time and cost installation of the Export Cables
  • Supervise and lead installation team
  • Manage planning and construction phase of inter array system.
  • Technical responsible in the negotiation with IAC contractors
  • Ensure that project requirements are meet
  • Proactively participate in cross package coordination with Installation Managers for the other packages
  • Regular communication with Package Manager to ensure full understanding of project status and deliverables.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management and five years relevant experience with proven success in the leadership of self sustaining teams, preferably in the onshore or offshore wind industry.Highly organized with proven project management skills preferred; excellent communication skills and an analytical mind along with high level of professionalism, trustworthiness, sound judgment, and a collaborative spirit.

  • To ensure that all cables are designed, manufactured, tested, jointed, terminated and tested after installation according to the contract and project requirements.
  • To manage the completion of engineering studies by a third-party engineering consultant in order to complete due diligence checks of Contractor’s design proposals.
  • To manage technical interfaces between the cables package and other packages in the project.

Requirements: The right candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with five to eight years experience in Cable Design Management in both development and construction. Understanding of electromechanical documents and drawings is necessary, and superior analytical, communication and presentation skills are required.

The Position: We’re looking for an experienced General Counsel to join our team. This position will be responsible for:

  • Serve as active member of Company’s Executive Team. Provide strategic counsel on legal, business and operational matters and supervise and coordinate the work of external law firms supporting the Company’s offshore wind business.
  • Represent Company’s legal interests and provide assurance of strong corporate governance and general legal housekeeping before investors, partners and co-partners, regulatory agencies, legislative bodies, auditors, and trade groups.
  • Provide prompt commercial, practical legal advice to Company’s various business lines to facilitate, improve and strengthen operational decision-making through integration of legal analysis as part of overall business development process.
  • Scope of responsibilities will include major equipment and construction contracts and other commercial agreements, finance, governance, real estate, intellectual property, employment and litigation/adversarial proceedings.
  • Partner with the permitting, construction, and operating teams on regulatory and compliance protocols, current and anticipated, at state (Massachusetts), federal, and local levels; interface with shareholder legal teams.

Requirements: The right candidate will possess a Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school, and 10+ years of legal experience in private practice from a well-respected law firm. Candidates with additional experience working as in-house counsel in the wind, renewable energy, or other related industry, or comparable experience representing companies in the sector, will be strongly considered.

  • Optimization of the overall cable, technical and logistical concept throughout the design phase
  • Scoping of FEED studies to include: export and array cable routing, cable burial risk assessment, sand wave migration studies, metocean data outputs
  • Ensure correct technical documents are available to supply chain
  • Ensuring all supplier designs and methodologies are fit for purpose and compliant with relevant standards and codes
  • Review of technical and engineering deliverables, , including management of internal and related works contractor reviews
  • Drafting of technical requirements

Further the job will entail Management and Optimization of internal and external Cable related technical interfaces. Review and comment on interface design from other packages / Related Works Contractors: ESP; Foundations; Scour; T&I; Commissioning. Technical engagement with Permit and Consents and other third parties

Requirements: The right candidate will possess a Bachelor or a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, possess five to eight years experience in Offshore Wind Cable Design and Installation, and ten years experience in Subsea/Marine Construction Project Management.

Key duties will include:

  • Develop a detailed media strategy geared to increase public awareness of the project
  • Leader in creating and collaborating on media content, including press releases and new media
  • Track and monitor relevant press coverage, responding proactively and creatively in a fast-paced media environment
  • Act as the first point of contact for all day-to-day press inquires, monitoring online, print media and other sources
  • Prepare and distribute press releases and updates utilizing digital and print media

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree and 8 years experience with proven success in high-level media and communications work, with an emphasis on new media and/or relations with outlets in the Boston or Coast/Cape/Islands market, or renewable energy industry.Excellent communication skills and an analytical mind along with high level of professionalism, trustworthiness, sound judgment, and a collaborative spirit. The Position: We’re looking for an experienced Document Controller to join our team. You wil be responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting, retrieval and distribution of electronically stored and hard copy documentation produced for, and by, all packages involved in the construction works of the Vineyard Wind farm. The project documentation is controlled using PIMS (Omega) EDMS adapted to project needs.

The document controller will work closely with package managers, technical teams and construction contractors, ensuring document meta data including RDS-PP numbering, where applicable, is correctly adhered to.In addition the controller will produce status reporting to management on a regular basis.

The document controller will be a key member of the Project Management Team supporting many aspects of administration, contractual documentation and key correspondence between all parties.

Key duties will include:

  • Supporting all technical packages documentation
  • Receiving, cataloging and storing hard and electronic copies of all technical drawings, reports and related information in an orderly manner, in line with project policies and procedures.
  • Allocate document numbers & coding on request to project team members & contractors.
  • Respond in a timely manner to requests to retrieve information, carry out information searches and general requests to support all package teams.
  • Accurately update information as required
  • Comtrol review cycles of documentation under preparation.
  • Particiapate in project management meetings reporting on document status as required

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or similar) with minimum five years relevant experience with document management and control, preferably in the onshore or offshore wind industry. Highly organized with proven project management skills preferred; excellent communication skills and an analytical mind along with high level of professionalism, trustworthiness, sound judgment, and a collaborative spirit.
