Ian Campbell, Director of Environmental & Permitting Compliance, supports the development and construction teams to plan and build offshore wind projects safely and responsibly. Ian has decades of experience in environmental compliance within the environmental and infrastructure construction industries and most recently managed environmental compliance activities at the Massachusetts Port Authority which included Logan Airport, Hanscom Field, Worcester Airport, and Conley Terminal. Ian has a BS in Environmental Studies and Biological Science from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and currently resides in resides in Pembroke, MA with his wife and two children.
Steven Tadros, Manager of Public Affairs, joined Vineyard Wind in 2021. He focuses on community and stakeholder engagement across Rhode Island, aiming to bridge the gap between the growing offshore wind industry and communities the projects power and beyond. Prior to Vineyard Wind, Steve was an environmental consultant, assisting with environmental impact statements, risk assessments, and marine emergency response planning. Steve has a B.Sc. in Marine Biology and a Minor in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island (URI) and a Masters of Oceanography (MO) from URI’s Graduate School of Oceanography. He grew up in Massachusetts and has been living in Rhode Island for the past decade.
Tess Dunleavy is Vineyard Wind’s Permit & Environmental Compliance Manager. She supports in coordinating onshore construction events and ensuring environmental compliance whilst construction activities are active. She also supports in gathering relevant plans and documents to ensure compliance throughout onshore works.
Tess is an alumnus of Westfield State University where she studied geographical planning and sustainability with a concentration in environmental planning and a minor in wildlife conservation. It was here that she discovered her passion for renewable energy. She began her journey with Vineyard Wind as a permitting and development intern in the Fall of 2020 and quickly fell in love with the offshore wind industry. She was later added to the onshore team in February of 2021.
As a life-long resident of Barnstable, MA and an outdoors enthusiast, Tess enjoys spending time in nature whether it be on the beach exploring marine life or submerging into the woods exploring what the land has to offer.
Klaus Skoust Møller, CEO, has a successful track record leading construction and development of 2,500 megawatt offshore wind projects worldwide including Race Bank, Burbo Bank, and Gunfleet Sands 3 offshore wind farms. Mr. Møeller holds a Juris Doctorate from Aarhus University and a Masters in Economics from Copenhagen Business School. He comes to Vineyard Wind with more than a decade of experience in the offshore wind industry most recently through his work as Senior Vice President, Partner at Copenhagen Offshore Partners, a project management team working on offshore wind projects in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. Klaus and his family reside in the Boston area and enjoy exploring the New England seashore.
Jack Arruda is the project’s Technical Development Manager, responsible for grid interconnection, on-shore cable route planning and installation, and operations and maintenance facilities. Jack has more than 25 years of experience operating and managing energy projects in the Northeast.
Prior to joining Vineyard Wind, Jack served as the Director of Operations for Caithness Energy. Previously, Jack spent over 17 years with Energy Management Inc. (EMI), where he worked in the development of solar, wind and combined cycle natural gas-fired electrical generation facilities. He was previously the Operations and Facility Manager at the 270 MW natural gas-fired power plant in Tiverton, Rhode Island for 8 years working for Calpine and GE.
Jack is a lifelong resident of Dartmouth, and a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a degree in Marine Engineering.
Michael has over 20 years of experience in the siting, impact assessment, and permitting of energy facilities, including 10 years of experience in the wind industry. Michael has been involved with Vineyard Wind since 2017, including serving as Permitting & Compliance Manager since late 2018. As Project Manager for Vineyard Wind 1, Michael’s primary responsibilities include: leading project coordination and implementation efforts related to permitting and environmental matters including federal, state, and local permitting efforts; leading coordination with the technical team related to Vineyard Wind permitting, environmental, and compliance matters; and managing/tracking permitting and environmental budgets and schedules.
Jennifer Cullen, Director of Labor Relations & Workforce Development, works to implement offshore wind workforce development programs to ensure a locally trained and qualified workforce and domestic supply chain for offshore wind. Previously, she spent over 10 years in the nonprofit sector, advocating for policies to promote clean energy and clean water in communities throughout the US.
Jen is originally from Cape Cod and has extensive experience working to build support for offshore wind in the community. She holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and French from the University of Vermont and a Master’s degree in Communications from Boston University.
Marine Liaison Officer Jeannot Smith came to Vineyard Wind after a career in the United States Coast Guard. During his time in the Coast Guard he worked throughout the United States focusing on Maritime Search and Rescue, Oil Spill Response, and Disaster relief efforts. He most recently served as the Deputy Sector Commander for Sector Southeastern New England based out of Woods Hole, MA. Prior to the Coast Guard he earned a Master Degree in Marine Management from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he focused on Integrated Marine and Coastal Zone Management. He grew up in New York City and currently resides with his wife and two children in East Falmouth, Massachusetts.
