Conduit Installation

STATUS: Complete

MARPRO Marine with Northstar Marine Services will be installing conduit at Covell’s Beach in Hyannis for the onshore substation in preparation for cable laying operations for the Vineyard Wind 1 wind farm. The operations will utilize an anchored barge 1300’ off the beach in 14’ of water, 3 support vessels, a tug and a Scout vessel. Please remain 500 feet away from the location of the barge for the safety of the divers. Additionally, do not pass between the beach and vessels as there is risk of entanglement with silt curtains and equipment. The operations will run Monday through Saturday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM weather permitting.

DATES(S): On or about December 12, 2021 until Mid-March 2022

LOCATION(S): Centerville Harbor, off Covell’s Beach, Town of Barnstable, MA
