Vineyard Wind invites you to join us as we cohost a “Meet the Buyer” event at the New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal with Horizon Geosciences Limited and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. Vineyard Wind has selected Horizon Geosciences Limited to conduct offshore geotechnical survey comprised of in-situ testing and sampling below the seabed. Representatives from Horizon Geosciences Limited will be available to meet with local businesses interested in supplying services for the duration of the survey work on the Vineyard Wind project at the Meet the Buyer event, see details below:

As part of the Meet the Buyer event, Vineyard Wind will be giving a presentation about the survey campaign at 11:00am.  Come learn more about the vast amount of data that is collected about a project site that aids in the development of responsibly-sited offshore wind.

Local companies supplying the following services may be interested in attending: diesel fuel, commercial diving, hull and vessel cleaning, food supplies, mechanics, vessel repair, equipment providers, marine supplies and paint, etc.

Vineyard Wind and the Mass Clean Energy Center look forward to connecting local businesses to the offshore wind supply chain as we develop this exciting industry in Massachusetts!
