WINTER TRAWL SURVEY 2024 (#98)

OFFSHORE WIND MARINER UPDATE NO. 98

STATUS: Complete

Beginning at the end of January, the School for Marine Science and Technology (SMAST) is conducting fisheries trawl survey following the Northeast Area Monitoring Assessment Program (NEAMAP) protocols within the Vineyard Wind 1 Lease Area (501) and an adjacent control area (see chart). There will be 20 tows performed in lease area 501 and 20 tows in the adjacent control area.

 
DATE(S): Expected start on January 29, 2024, for approximately 7 days
