Offshore wind mariner update NO. 82

STATUS: Complete

During the month of May, the School for Marine Science and Technology (SMAST) is conducting fisheries trawl surveys following the Northeast Area Monitoring Assessment Program (NEAMAP) protocols within the Vineyard Wind 1 Lease Area (501) and an adjacent control area (see chart). There will be 20 tows performed in lease area 501 and 20 tows in the adjacent control area.

DATES(S): Expected start on May 17, 2023, for approximately 10 days
