OFFSHORE EXPORT CABLE CORRIDOR BOULDER RELOCATION OPERATIONS (OSV BERTO L MILLER)
STATUS: Complete
Beginning on August 18, 2022, the OSV BERTO L MILLER will be conducting boulder relocation operations along the offshore export cable corridor through Nantucket Sound. The boulder relocation operations, weather permitting, will take approximately until mid-September. The vessel will be lifting boulders off the bottom and placing them back on the bottom for this operation, still within our defined offshore export cable corridor. VW1 will share locations of any boulder relocated during boulder clearance efforts with federal and state agencies as well as fishermen.
