SEAPICKET BUOY GEAR RECOVERY (#123)

Offshore wind mariner update NO. 123

On or around August 25, the CAPT. JOSEPH E PEARCE will be conducting operations to recover gear and anchors associated with Vineyard Wind SeaPicket Buoys. The CAPT. JOSEPH E PEARCE will be using a Bedrock Ocean Explorer Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) and an A-frame crane for the operations. The vessel will have restricted maneuverability during ROV and crane operations. Vessels in the area are requested to give a wide berth to the CAPT. JOSEPH E PEARCE and to operate in a manner as to not endanger the vessel or associated equipment. Passingarrangements can be made with vessel. Vessel will be standing by on VHF channel 16.

 
DATES(S): Beginning August 25 for approximately one week.
