ICYMI: Offshore Wind Development

Vineyard Wind is among three companies with a federal lease to develop an off shore wind farm south of Martha’s Vineyard. While they are still awaiting a federal permit, Vineyard Wind is moving forward with state regulations for the laying of transmission cables and the on shore sub station planned for Barnstable.
